Well, it's been close to eight months, so I suppose it's about time that I updated my journal. Things have been busy here. Lost my job at Ashland at the end of August, and took a month or two off to relax while doing some job hunting. Been working for Kelly since November, and currently it looks as though I might be getting hired by Wellpoint. Wish me luck with that; I would really like to have health insurance again. Medicines are expensive without it.
Other than that, things have been pretty much the same here. Been enjoying the online D&D game that I'm in, and just recently picked up Galactic Civilizations II. It's a lot of fun, but it eats time. A 4X space game, much like Civilization 3 or 4. Well worth looking into, if you like that sort of thing. The ship designer is practically a game in and of itself.
Finally, ran across this in ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) yinepuhotep's journal. Tried it out, and thought the result fit me pretty well. ( Take a look, and see what you think. )

I know very little about some of the people on my Friends list. Some people I know relatively well. I read your fic, or we have something else in common and we chat occasionally. Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But you Friended me and I thank you.
But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say, "Ah, there's so and so - she likes office supplies and hentai."
I'd love it if every single person who Friended me would do this. Yes, even you people who I know really well. Then post this in your own journal(s).

I tried guessing some songs when my friend yinepuhotep did this, so I thought I'd give people a chance to try a list of MY songs. Heh heh heh.
The idea is to randomize your playlist and write down the first line of the first 25 songs that show up. Everybody gets to guess the songs. I'll cross off the names of songs as people guess them, and don't worry. If nobody gets them after a while, I'll post a key.

4:44 pm - I finally broke down...

After several years of reading the livejournal entries of friends, I finally broke down and made my own account. I don't know how often I'll update this thing, but I'll try to remember to put up entries now and again. If nothing else, I now have a place to post all of the various quizzes I've taken over the last few years.
